Kathleen Savio dated Sgt Drew Peterson while he was still married to his second wife, a pattern of adultry, without moral standards, this man was allowed to continue of the police force, there was indication of threats, sex within the police department being alleged, but no removal and it seemed that the laws only apply to those who those within choose to impose it on!

The Strange Death of Kathleen Savio Drew Peterson’s fourth wife!
Peterson went to a neighbor's to call a locksmith. Once entry was gained, the neighbor went inside and found Savio's body in a waterless bathtub.
The investigation revealed Savio drowned. Her fingertips showed pruning from being submerged in water and her hair was wet when she was found. While there was no water in the bathtub, it may have drained out over time, as the plug was down, investigators speculated.
A coroner's jury ruled the death accidental. State police investigated that case as well. No charges were filed

Alleged Family History
Abuse, alcoholism and instability were key characteristics of the Cales children's household growing up.
It may explain why Stacy Peterson, 23, found what she thought to be stability and security in the arms of a man 30 years her senior, Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson.
Linda Cales, 54, last saw her stepdaughter five years ago, but has remained in contact with her throughout the years. Cales married Stacy's father, Anthony Cales, in the mid-90s and remained in the family and children's lives until their divorce in 2002.
The missing person is “Stacy Cales” who at the age of 16 and or 17 began an affair with Drew Peterson a police officer in Bolingbrook Illinois. The other factor not spoken of was that the affair begins allegedly within the Police Department. These Allegations were made by Drew Petersons then wife Savio who died within an accidental drowning within her bath tub. But there is information that there was no water in the tub!
Rogers reported that Peterson's third wife had been granted an order of protection against Drew Peterson, saying, "He wants me dead." The order of protection was dismissed 10 days later.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office said they were reviewing the circumstances of Peterson's former wife's death three years ago.
More allegations Peterson was also investigated in the late 80s for "shaking down drug dealers for drugs" and money charges dismissed and he was returned to duty.

Christie was last seen at approximately 4:30pm in the vicinity of the 2300 block of W. 199th Street in Blue Island, IL.
Cales left her home, clutching a Bible, saying she was going to church.
Cales' family never saw the mother of six again.
Cales lost one little girl in a Downers Grove house fire in 1982 and then another child to SIDS in 1987. Cales had a history of vanishing for weeks on end, after the loss of two young children.

He had been indicted two months earlier on charges of official misconduct and failure to report a bribe. Peterson was working under the auspices of the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad at the time. Indictments alleged he solicited drugs in exchange for information about his agency. The charges later were dropped. Special Prosecutor Raymond Bolden said at the time that the charges were not provable.
Drew Peterson won reinstatement with the department in March 1986. Judge Edwin Grabiec ruled police and fire commissioners lacked sufficient evidence to find Peterson guilty of the charges.

11:00 a.m. Ric Mims was told by Drew that he woke up at this time and Stacy was gone.
1:30 p.m. Cassandra starts calling looking for Stacy
She calls the house and Chris (one of the kids) tells her Stacy went to Grampas house ... Cassandra makes calls and confirms that Stacy never went
1:30 p.m. Ric Mims talks to Sharon (neighbor) who confirms both cars were in the driveway until 1:30 p.m.
11:00 p.m. Cassandra goes to the house, and observes no cars in driveway gives Chris fundraising money and asks him if he's alone? He says yes and tells her Mom & Dad got into a fight and Dad's out looking for her.
11:26 p.m. Cassandra calls Drew -- he wants to know where her sister is ... she left me. He's been out running around looking for her. Claimed he was now home, which she know wasn't true since she just left there.
She immediate goes to Downers Grove PD who tell her to go back to Bolingbrook and files a report (around midnight)
2:30 a.m. approx -- Cassandra drives back by and sees both cars in the driveway. Bruce then calls Drew to inquire about both vehicles in driveway. Drew claims that he talked to Stacy around 9:00 p.m. and she was fine and went on a little vacation, he got the car from the airport. One person wrote: Drew Peterson has claimed that Stacy called him on Sunday to say she had left him for another man. Of course he is not looking for her since he is claiming she called him. But if she really called him, she would call her sister. Drew Peterson also claims that evidence has come up that Stacy's mother, Christie Marie Cales, is still alive. But no such evidence has ever been reported to law enforcement. What motive would Drew have to make such a statement other than he killed her, too. When a serial killer is discovered it is important to look for all possible links to all deaths and disappearances. Stacy Peterson and Christie Cales are linked by blood. Kathleen Savio is linked by being one of Drew's wives. Threats and violence have been committed against both Kathleen and Stacy in the past. Investigators should look into several possibilities regarding the disappearance of Christie Cales. She would not allow 14 year old Stacy to date Drew or she dated Drew herself and afterward Drew stalked, found, and dated Stacy. Drew Peterson has control and rage issues. Once enraged, Drew kills. He covers up his murders. It is most likely that he is responsible for several more murders. Serial killers are called serial for a reason. Also serial killers usually begin their career much earlier than 44, his age when he is likely to have killed Christie Cales..
